Whether you can’t cook or won’t cook, this is the perfect place for you to learn how to cook and become inspired to do so! Cooking is an art, but when you don’t know what you are doing it can become a nightmare. Fortunately we have a series of courses lined up for you so you can learn to make a variety of foodstuffs for any and every occasion.

The workshops will be hands on: you will get to make and take part part in every part of the process, and get to sample your own cooking. Whether you are already an expert chef or a complete novice, Satya will take you through your paces in a comfortable setting. Groups will purposely be kept small to create a focus on quality teaching, allowing all participants to get the most out of the sessions and develop their culinary skills.

Our cook and teacher extraordinaire, Satya, is a professional caterer with several decades of experience catering for every type of event imaginable. Her passion for cooking is undeniable, and she uses her spare time to learn as well as create new recipes and teach others. This is an opportunity not to be missed out on.

The first session will be a professional bread baking course. Satya will demonstrate how to make a really good dough, teaching the skills to knead and prove effectively. Participants will learn to make dough by hand from scratch. Half of the dough will be used to make traditional shapes as you see in the shops (such as cobs cottages loaves and plaits bloomers), while the second half will be used to make the specialty Stilton raisin bread. The price will include use of apron, tea towel, all ingredients  and recipe sheet. You will get to take home all the bread you have make (usually 4-5 loaves).

The course will run on both Saturday and Sunday so choose which day you prefer to come on by clicking on the correct payment choice below. Please note there are only 10 places available.
