Gujarati Gita Life (Gita Jivan)

For the first time the College of Vedic Studies is pleased to announce we will be presenting one of our most popular and essential courses for all Hindus, Gita Life, totally 100% in Gujarati. Aimed at anyone whose first language is Gujarati, this course will you allow one to gain a deeper understanding of the Bhagavad Gita in a concise yet entertaining manner.

We are honoured to have His Grace Parama Karuna das, a bramacari monk for well over a decade, teaching and overseeing the courses that comprise the scholarly Bhakti sastri. He has taught and mentored many students who have come into contact with the teachings of the Gita.

The Bhagavad-gita is universally renowned as a timeless masterpiece of spiritual wisdom. Spoken by Sri Krishna, to His intimate friend, Arjuna, the Bhagavad-gita’s 700 concise verses provide a definitive guide to the science of yoga and self-realization. Endorsed by greats such as mahatma Gandhi and Albert Einstein, the knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita is a must for any spiritual seekers, yogis and Hindus in general.

“Gita Life” is a 10 week course providing a chapter-by-chapter summary, giving pertinent themes and life lessons from this historical epic. There are also insights into the culture and practice of this ancient tradition including meditation, music and drama.

Every week is recorded, with the audio and powerpoint slides sent to everyone registered. This means even if cannot make all the weeks, you never miss out!
