The Ramayan and Me: a four part series outlining the key themes and lessons from the great and controversial epic the Ramayan. More importantly, this series will delve deep into the inner meaning behind the stories and the relevance in our lives in the 21st century. Ramayan is not just a book to be read or a movie to watch, but ultimately a code of conduct to live by.
Learn about all the important pastimes, clarify any misconceptions, and immerse yourself in the astounding stories that constitute the Ramayan epic. Discover the great characteristics of Sita, Rama, Laxsman, Hanuman and Jatayu, and what lessons we can learn from Ravana and Manthara. Find out how to align your goals so they become more spiritual, and ultimately how you can become more happy and peaceful in life.
We are very fortunate to have His Grace Vaishnava Sarvabhauma facilitate this amazing series entitled The Ramayan & Me. Vaishnava was educated in Vrindavan and has a wealth of knowledge, knowing the wisdom texts of the Eastern Vedic tradition inside out. He also conducts a number of the intricate ceremonies performed at Bhaktivedanta Manor.
