Sanskrit Course

This is the first time the College of Vedic Studies is hosting a Sanskrit course, with such an esteemed teacher facilitating the session. We therefore urge anyone interested to make the most of this opportunity. Please note places are limited and available on a first come first served basis, so please book here online or contact us by email asap to avoid disappointment.

A ten hour workshop on spoken Sanskrit intended to introduce the language to anyone who wishes to pursue learning it. Participants of the workshop will be able to pick up the basics, opening the door for further exploration. Prior knowledge of Sanskrit is not required to attend the workshop and there is no registration fee. Please note that you need to attend the whole workshop on BOTH days. Entry will not be permitted in between.

We are honoured to have the legendary Professor Gajendrakumar S Panda MA PhD Vedantacharya, who is the head of the Department of Sanskrit at the LD Arts College, Gujarat University. Prof Gajendra is fluent in seven languages, has won numerous international awards as well as prizes from various institutions and personalities including two former Presidents of India. He travels around the world, and to date has taught over 62000 people.He is famous for his spirited and interactive seminars where novices learn to pick up spoken Sanskrit in a matter of hours.
